Randal Beaty, age 75, of Pall Mall, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Beaty was born June 29, 1938 in Pickett County, Tennessee. He was an equipment operation at the Rock Quarry.
Mr. Beaty is survived by fiancee, Sue Whittenburg of Pall Mall; and four sisters, Alice Guffey of Anderson, IN, Patsy Singleton of Atwood, TN, Hazel Crawford of Upland, CA and Billie Allen of Huntingdon, TN.
Mr. Beaty was preceded in death by father, Dent Beaty; mother, Nova (Poore) Beaty; wife, Susie Beaty; son, Jerry Beaty; four brothers, Granville Beaty, Elmer Beaty, Franklin D. Beaty and Cecil Beaty; and two sisters, Joann Beaty and Sue Beaty.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Jennings ?Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Dixon officiating. Burial followed in the Williams Chapel Cemetery. Active pallbearers included Scotty Upchurch, Bethel Beaty, Bobby Duncan, Tim Duncan, Chasta Beaty, Jerry Davidson and Wayne Poore. Sue Whittenburg served as honorary pallbearer.
