Helen departed this life on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Both her parents, one brother, Edward Coffey, Jr., one son, Lamont Jackson, her mother-in-law, Oleo M. Finney, her grandson, Raydale Hill, Jr., her step-son, Eric Jackson, niece, Nicole Golden, her sister-in-law, Rosia Lee Hughes and her brother-in-law, Roland Hughes all preceded her in death Helen was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and attended Manual High School. She professed a hope in Christ early in life. She joined Harvest Church International Outreach in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was baptized and remained a faithful member until her health failed. Helen met Danny Jackson, Jr., and they were united in marriage. To their union two children were born, Danise and Lamont. She worked various jobs in the City until she retired from K.C. Costumes in January 2010.
