Douglas Raymond Huhn, 58, of Portland, passed away on Dec. 7, 2005.
He was born on August 30, 1947 in Lansing the son of Edwin and Ruth (Augst) Huhn.
Mr. Huhn retired after 36 years of service at General Motors.
Douglas served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and was a member of the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090, proudly serving on their Color Guard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin; brother, Tom; father-in-law, John Euvard; and is finally reunited with his baby grandson, Jeremiah Douglas.
Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Paulette.
The Funeral Service was held Dec. 10, at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Larry King, Pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Portland, presiding. Rite of Committal followed at Portland Cemetery.
Military honors will be provided by the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090.

Burial was December 10, 2005.
