Janis Richmond, 82, of Grafton, died Tuesday at her home following a long illness.
Born in Dry Creek, W.Va., she moved to Cleveland in 1955 and then to Eaton Township in 1972.
She enjoyed playing cards, visiting family and friends and caring for the family home.
Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Pettry of Eaton Township; sons Billy Joe of North Eaton, and Larry Scott of North Ridgeville; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Esco, in 1987; two sisters; and two brothers.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Blackburn Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl Roughary, pastor of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.
