Mr. Heavner was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 25, 1924, son of the late John & Lela Plonk Heavner. He was a member of Gideon International, a devoted worker in Lincoln County Prison Ministry, was a retired barber and furniture manufacturer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
