A viewing for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, July 10th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 11th at Eastside Cemetery, Midvale.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette.
Hollis was born July 16, 1927 in Fruitvale, ID to Fredrick Richard Burt and Irene Belle White.
He grew up in Fruitvale and served in the Navy and Army for three years.
Hollis lived a happy life, enjoying his loving family around him. He loved to fish, hunt, and be in the outdoors. He drove logging truck for many years and was a great dad, husband, and grandpa.
Hollis was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mildred Moore; and one brother, Vern Burt.
We are grateful for his life and for the tremendous loving care from all of those at Emeritus Meadowbrook, Heart n' Home Hospice, and Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel.
