Born in Hensley, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert Lucion and Ella Hill Lucion.
Angie was a devoted, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Angie had a confidante whom we call "Aunt" Barbara Johnson or "Big Mama."
Mrs. Hall was a devoted member of the Plaza Church of Christ. She helped them with many of their committees and social events. She was a longtime member of The Sumter Newcomer's Club and for the past few years was on the board of directors. She was the social director and set up activities for the members and their spouses. She was the Queen Mum of the "Classie Ladies of Sumter" Red Hats group formed in September 2009.
She was a member of the Shepherd's Center and worked with them on different occasions. She loved games and different card games and formed a group to play cards or games on a weekly basis. They called themselves "Angie's Girls."
Angie was a dear friend to those close to her, and she will be missed terribly.
Surviving is one son, Steve Lee (Amy) Hall, and a daughter, Pamela (Aron) Hall-Samonia, all of Sumter; numerous brothers and sisters; three grandchildren, Jamie Barr (Brandon) Rogers, Laura Gaffney Hall and her fiancé, Todd Brown, and Mary Lucion Hall; and two great-grandchildren, Lillie Marie Rogers and Mollie Gray Rogers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Dearld Sterling officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
