T. LaMar "Butch" Barnes Our loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, T. LaMar "Butch" Barnes passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Heber City, Utah. Butch was born January 1, 1957 to Joseph North an Joan Sproule Barnes. Married Sally Gines December 5, 1975. The two of them loved to travel the country and to take mini-vacations. Butch was a reserve police officer for Wasatch Co. and Heber City and had a deep love for the law, and he dedicated many years to Search and Rescue. Butch worked construction and loved to operate heavy equipment. He also worked for Wasatch County for 23 years. Butch is survived by his loving wife, Sally; children: Samantha (Robert) Giles, Joseph (Alisa) Barnes; seven grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters. He is preceded in death by both parents and mother-in-law, Yuleta Gines. Graveside services will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 – 11:00 AM Heber City Cemetery, 650 North 550 East, Heber City, Utah. Friends and family may pay respects on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:30-10:30 AM prior to the services Both at Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City.
