Eugene G. Lamb of Laurel died there July 26 at the age of 85.

He was born Dec. 14, 1926, in Brooklyn and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Formerly of Sayville, Mr. Lamb worked as an attorney until he retired.

Predeceased by his first and second wives, Cecelia and Janet, Mr. Lamb is survived by his children, Robert, Marianne, Cecelia, Edward, Timothy, Christina and Michael; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren

Visiting hours took place July 28 and 29 at O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Port Jefferson Station. A Funeral Mass was held July 30 at Our Lady of Good Counsel R.C. Church in Mattituck, followed by interment at Cutchogue Cemetery.
