Services for William L. Miller, nationally known bowler a half century ago, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Eppens-Van De Weghe Funeral Home, 6150 Cadieux. Mr. Miller, 81 of 20014 Mc Cormick, died Tuesday in Saratoga Hospital. In 1914 he won the singles and all-events championships at the American Bowling Congress. He was a retired employee of the Fruehauf Corp. Survivors include two sons, William L. Jr. and Bruce; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jane Brackney; four brothers, Gustave, Joseph, George and Roy, and eight grandchildren. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
