From the Blauvelt Association Site:

Father was Jan Ryker, Born Before 1693 and died over the age of 90. Probate was 28 Oct 1793.

The family had moved from Newtown, Suffolk County, New York before 1744.

They had moved from Closter, New Jersey which became part of Rockland County and then changed back to Bergen County New Jersey where he had purchased a farm. It appears that he had moved, but he never did. The lines of the State of New Jersey and New York changed during that period.

Jan married Geertruy Wiltsie before 25 Apr 1698 at Faltbush, Kings County, New York. Wiltsie died in 1781. Estimated marriage date was 1719.

He was the son of Abrahm Riker and Grietje Van Buytenhusen.
