Mr. Brown was employed by the Caterpillar Tractor Company in Decatur.
Surviving are his wife, Judith (Boston); two children, Joseph Allen and Kimberly Renee, both at home; mother, Mrs. Della Brown, of California; two brothers, Dudley, of Decatur; and Dale, of Kerns, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Mary Jane) Beatty; and Mrs. William (Marcella) Collier, of Garden Grove, Calif.
Services were at the Brintlinger-Pershing Funeral Home in Decatur.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Springfield.
