Son of Theophilus Offie Floyd, Jr. & Elizabeth Bounds.
The story is that after his wife, Callie (Matlock) Floyd was committed to an Insane Asylum, he left his children in the care of the Barnett family in Bossier parish, sold his land and assets and then left the state of Louisiana (Possibly to California or somewhere in the northwest area of the US) and was never heard from again. No official death record has been found for him as of yet.
