Anderson-Edith Audrey Van Sickle, 84, Anderson, passed away September 6, 2013 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus Anderson, IN after an extended illness. She was born October 13, 1928 in Jersey City, New Jersey, moving to Anderson in 1949. She lived in this area all her life. She was a longtime member of the Anderson North Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Edie enjoyed life and the ability to talk to persons about the Bible's hope for the future under God's Kingdom. Her parents and husband preceded her in death, with her husband Richard dying on March 1, 2005. They had five children, Edith Marie (died as a baby), Richard A. & wife Joddie Van Sickle of Noblesville, Elaine A. Van Sickle of Texas, Timothy S. & wife Pam Van Sickle of Anderson, Clifford W. Van Sickle of Anderson. Grandchildren: Nathaniel S. Van Sickle, Angela R. Van Sickle, Nicholas L. Jackson, Neale W. Van Sickle, Sarah A. Van Sickle, Caitlin M. Van Sickle and Jessica R. Van Sickle. Also surviving are several Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by several dear friends in the congregation. She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert and Edith Templeton, and a brother: Walter Templeton.
