Note from Union Cemetery Trustee, Christa Ellis:

The list of burials I have lists the death date as 1893 and the name as Christy. This is clearly not consistent with the information Tom Carr has given, nor is it consistent with the information on the actual stone, so I've changed the information at the memorial to reflect that. But even in light of overwhelming evidence that my burial list is incorrect in this regards, I still like to make note the discrepancy.

I'm wondering if this newer stone didn't replace an older stone that was not readable. This would explain why my burial list has information that is close but not quite accurate when the stone there now is so easy to read. My records give an inscription which does not exist on the present stone which gives me further reason to believe there was a previous stone.
