There seems to be conflicting information about whether the place of death was Howard County or Grant County. I've had other contributors send me edit suggestions for both locations, so I've included both so researchers will know to look in both counties.

My burial list gives an inscription for this stone, but the current stone is very readable and does not give an inscription. I suspect this newer stone replaced an older monument.
