Kyle Todd Bryant, 19, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was a member of Church Alive in Roanoke. He enjoyed playing football and baseball as a youth and later played soccer. He was a 2012 graduate of Northside High School. He was also a part of the Boy Scouts of America, and many feel this service led to his recent enlistment with the United States Navy. His hobbies included mudding, camping, and skateboarding, and he adored his pets, Dallas and Dixie. He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Sharon Saunders and Verna Whited; grandfathers, Jeffrey Eaton and Ted Dracos; and uncle, Steven Hall.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 2 p.m., also in the chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Pastor Carey Harrell will officiate. The Bryant family is being served by John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
