Wallace Maddock, 92, Oakes, North Dakota, died Sunday, March 14, 1999, in
the Oakes Good Samaritan Center.
Mr. Maddock was born July 31, 1906, in Kokomo, IN. He moved with his family
to the Guelph, ND, area where he attended school. On February 11, 1933, he
married Marie Rowe in Edgeley, ND. In 1940 they moved to a farm near
Guelph, which they purchased in 1942. They farmed until 1973 when they
retired and moved to Oakes. She died in 1989. He had been a resident of
the Oakes Good Samaritan Center since 1994.
