Lyle was born to William Fredrick Dilworth and Sarah Tueller Davis on June 5, 1933, in Carey, Idaho. His siblings are Marilyn Dilworth (deceased), Kathleen Perry, Kay Dilworth, Sarann Williams, Emma Champa and Joyce Dahlhausen.
Lyle had many talents. He could build, repair, find bargains, fix, reuse and make do with what he had. He was a true craftsman. He built beautiful gardens, roads, homes and buildings.
