Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Sliter, 80, who died Sunday in the Staples Municipal hospital, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Pillager Pentecostal church. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Pillager.

Mrs. Sliter was born Bertha McGee in Henderson, Iowa, Nov., 7, 1872. She was married to Frank C. Sliter in 1892. The farmed in Woodbury county, Iowa. In 1902 they moved to Butler, Minn., then to Detroit and to Frazer in 1908. They moved to Sylvan, Minn. in 1913. In 1950 she came to Staples to be with her daughter.

Mrs. Sliter is survived by four children, Clarence, Ralph, Irma and Richard.
