William 'Bill' P. Beebe, 72, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 24, 2013.

He was born Dec. 12, 1940, in Muncie to parents Fred C. and Loredda (Nixon) Beebe, now deceased.

His brother Thomas Beebe also preceded him in death.

Bill was a 1958 graduate of Muncie Central High School and began his military career by joining the U.S. Navy in 1959. He proudly served his country until retiring from the service in 1967, having visited many foreign ports of call.

He married his beloved wife, Martha L. (Borror) Beebe, Dec. 22, 1960, and she survives.

Also surviving is his loving daughters, Mrs. Judith L. Lunceford and Janet L. Beebe of Peru.

Bill was employed at Managed Receivables, Inc., of Kokomo and retired as office manager in 2005 after 35 years of service. He enjoyed traveling and collecting post cards from his travels and from his may friends and relatives, having over 2,500 in his collection. Bill was a great friend to many and enjoyed staying in touch through visits or daily phone calls.

Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery in Cass County.

Memorial service will be led by Pastor Tony Winter, followed by military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a love offering for the Bill Beebe family will be accepted through the funeral home.
