Our loving sister Barbara Thomas is no more! She died the 29 June in Williams
Co., Ohio, of a high fever. For 5 years she was afflicted with rheumatism,
through which she lost the use of a leg, and must walk with a crutch; still she
joined her brothers and sisters each Sunday, until 2 weeks before her death,
where she beseeched God with fervor, soon to remove her crutch and to go home
to her peace. She leaves behind 3 minor children, as forsaken orphans in this
world. G. M. Hertel.**
