Amy Jo Hobbs, 46, of Becky Hill Rd., Lexington died Friday, September 6, 2013 in Genesis Salisbury Center after an extended illness.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 9, 2013 at Reeds Baptist Church with Rev. Henry Watterson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church, prior to the service.

Amy was born January 3, 1967 in Davidson County to Larry Bayne Hobbs and Betty Rummage Hobbs. She was a homemaker and a member of Reeds Baptist Church. Her mother preceded her in death.

Surviving are her father of Lexington; two brothers, Bayne Hobbs and wife, Becky, Kerry Hobbs and wife, Margaret all of Lexington; a sister, Deborah Thompson and husband, Rodney of Lexington.
