Services were Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with the Rev. J. B. Patterson officiating. Burial was in Mulberry Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin B. and Docia Derror Logan, and the wife of A. Crawrod McGehee, Jr., who died in 1959. She attended MTSU, Murfreesboro, when it was known as Normal, and also Akron University, Akron, Ohio. She taught in Lincoln County and Robertson County schools in Tennessee, in Madison County, Alabama, and in the city school system of Akron, Ohio. She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church, where she taught the Primary Sunday School class while a teacher at Mulberry School and in later years taught the adult Sunday School class.
Survivors are three sons, Crawford Derror McGehee, William Malcolm McGehee, Oklawaha, Florida, and Marvin Gail McGehee of Mulberry; a daughter, Mrs. Amy Jane McGehee Garretson of Asheboro, North Carolina; nine grandchildren.
