Lucille was born August 11, 1919 in southern Lamar County, a daughter of Joe and Eva Hunter Westbrook. She attended schools in the Glory community. Following her education she held employment at the Kress' and Woolworth stores in Paris until her marriage. She married Hollis Garner, and her focus went to care for he and their household.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Westbrook Gentry; and a brother, Carl Westbrook.
Lucille leaves surviving numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, none of whom will ever forget their impressions of a life well lived.
