MACCLESFIELD - Sylvia Whitley Pearce, 73, of Webbs Chapel Road, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening surrounded by her family. She was born in Edgecombe County daughter of the late James and Mary Belle Webb Whitley. Sylvia was also preceeded in death by her brothers Donald, Mike, Gene, and Stanley.
Funeral service were held at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church with visitation to following. A graveside service was held the following morning at Pineview Cemetery in Pinetops.
Arrangements were by Strickland Funeral Home of Wendell.
