MRS. CARTER'S REMAINS
The remains of Mrs. Martha Carter, the aged mother of Col. J.E. and Dr. J.D. Carter, of our city, whose death at Kansas city a few days since, was noted by us, were aboard yesterday evening's train. The remains were in charge of and accompanied by Mr. F.M. Carter, the deceased's son, and her grand-daughter, daughter of Col. Cater. They were joined quite a number of relatives and friends at this place, who accompanied them to the residence of Mrs. E.D. McMillan, daughter of the deceased, near McMillan's.
The funeral takes place at 11 o'clock today, and the remains will be interred at Flat Creek.
