Ronald N. Seymour, 72, of Clermont died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital of Rhinebeck. Born November 4, 1938 in Hudson, he was the son of the late Rossman and Mildred (Hasbrouck) Seymour. Ron was a retired truck driver for F.H. Stickles and Son of Livingston. He was a very active in and a former Chief of the Clermont Fire Company and a member of the C.H. Evans Hook and Ladder Co. of Hudson. He was an avid duck hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his significant other: Diane L. Seymour, 3 sons: Ronald P. of Clermont, Floyd R. of Stottville, and Brandon R. of Claverack, one sister Karen Davis of Ausable Forks, Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Robert B. Seymour. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 Sunday at the Yadack-Fox Funeral Home of Germantown. Members of the Clermont Fire Company will conduct services at 7 p.m.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Tipple officiating.
Interment will follow in the St. Luke's Cemetery of Clermont. Memorial donations are requested to the Clermont Fire Company.
