PAYNE, Marcus O. 42, of Grove City, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lisa; children Ty, Jordan and Allyson all at home; mother, Katherine (Donald) Washington of Dayton; father Reginald (Emma) Payne Sr. of Dayton; brothers Reginald Payne Jr., Thomas (Adrianne) Payne both of FL., Aaron Washington of Dayton, Ryan Payne of Columbus; mother-in-law Evaline Myers of Greenville; numerous nieces and nephews and he was loved by his large family of in-laws. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union 413 and worked for UPS for 19 1/2 years. Marcus was a wonderful, loving and devoted husband and father to his wife and children. Visitation will be held 5:00-8:00PM Friday, September 2, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Cross Point United Methodist Church 506 East Main St. Dayton, Ohio 45426 with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Ithaca Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Tuition Trust Authority for the children's future educational expenses.
