Johnny Hall spent his career as an insurance executive with New York Life Insurance Company.
In 1967, he received the C. L. U. designation from Syracuse University. He worked for many
years in the corporate office in New York City, residing in Ramsey, NJ, After 37 years in Ramsey, NJ, Johnny and Nancy moved back to their beloved Ruston, LA.
Ira John "Johnny" Hall is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, Nancy Durrett
Hall and by his two brothers, Thomas Lavaugh Hall and Charles Peyton Hall.
He is survived by a daughter, Rachel May (Ernest May III) of Great Falls, VA; a son, Andrew Hall (Lori) of Nevis; a son, Timothy John Hall (Dawn Hail) of Monroe, LA, a daughter, Rebecca Burton (Larry
Burton) of Arlington, VA, He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and
many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday September 7, 2013 at 9am Grace United Methodist Church, 3401 North Trenton Street, Ruston, LA, followed by a Memorial Service and Fellowship. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery Lincoln Parish, Simsboro, Louisiana.
