BAUGHAN, Ruth Keeton, 94, of Richmond, passed away September 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard L. Baughan Sr.

She is survived by one son, Bernard L. Baughan Jr. "Butch"; four daughters, Pat Rohrig (Billy), Nancy Baughan, Mary Schellenger (Gib) and Jeanne Curran (Tim); six grandchildren, Will and Dan Rohrig, Lee and Chris Baughan, Lindsey and Taylor Curran; and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton M. Keeton (Phyllis); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memories of a kind and giving spirit, as well as her homemade "hot rolls," will be with all of us forever. Her greatest joys were time spent at her York River home, socializing with friends and most importantly, being surrounded by her family. We were blessed to have her for 94 years.

The family will receive friends at Bliley's- Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., on Thursday (today), 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., with a Christian wake at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 11 a.m. Friday. Interment in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Comboni Missionary Sisters, 1307 Lakeside Ave., Henrico, 23228, or to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 8200 Woodman Rd., Richmond, Va. 23228.
