Donna Lou Buse, 78, of Yakima, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Cottage In The Meadow surrounded by her loving family.
Donna was born June 14, 1935 in Mt. Vernon, WA to Carl and Rose (Hansted) Carlson. She was raised and educated in the Mt. Vernon School District.
She married Robert Owen Buse on December 26, 1955 in Mt. Vernon, WA.
Donna moved with her family to Bend, OR and Pendleton, OR before settling in Yakima in the early 1982. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family, sewing, quilting and making crafts. Donna was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Yakima where she was actively involved with the quilting group. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert Buse of Yakima, her children, Michael Buse of San Diego, CA, Teresa (Carl) Beamer of Newark, OH, Julie Buse of Yakima and Richard Buse of Selah; four grandchildren, Michael A. Brown-Buse, Donna-Dolores B. Buse, Owen Beamer and Alice Beamer; also great-grandson Isaac Beamer and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Viewing was Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Brookside Funeral Home & Crematory, 500 W. Prospect, Moxee from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorial Services were Thursday, September 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 5606 W. Lincoln.
Graveside Services will be held in Hawthorne Memorial Park, Mt. Vernon, WA, 1825 E. College Way, on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
