Eligene (Jean) Beckett, 76, of Grafton, OH, passed away March 1, 2005. Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, March 4, from Reichlin-Roberts Funeral Home of Elyria, OH. Pastor Charles Keesee of Midway Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Beckett was born May 3, 1928 in Crossville.
She worked at Ridge Tool, retiring in 1990 after 21 years as a machine operator. She was a member of Moose Lodge 778 Auxiliary and VFW Post 1079 Auxiliary. She enjoyed flower gardening, bowling, collecting dolls, genealogy and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, William F. Beckett; daughter, Linda M. Gargasz of Lorain, OH; sons, Gary L. of LaGrange, OH, Michael W. Las Vegas and Jeffrey M. of Elyria, OH; granddaughters, Brooke L. Beckett and Lisa A. Stang; grandson, Erik M. Beckett; three great-grandchildren; sister, Ethel Reed of Grandview, TN; and brother, Elmo Houston of Lebanon, OH.
She was preceded in death by her father, James S. Turner; mother, Effie A. Turner Houston (née Hall); stepfather, Ed D. Houston; and brother, Troy L. Turner.
