NICHOLAS "NICK" CAPOBIANCO, 77, of Plainfield Street, owner and operator of the former Capobianco Sewer and Utility Co. for many years, died Monday in Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence.
He was the husband of Angelina (Ianozzi) Capobianco.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Joseph and Gaetanella (Mezzancella) Capobianco, he had lived in Johnston for the last six years, previously living in Cranston.
Mr. Capobianco previously worked for the Cranston Sewer Department.
He was a past Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Scalabrini Council and a member of the Elks Club. He was a communicant of St. Charles Church in Providence.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, a daughter, three brothers, three sisters, five grandchildren and a great-grandson.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Capobianco, Frank Capobianco and Rocco Capobianco, Rose Amaral and Virginia Rafanelo.
