Nobel Prize Laureate Scientist. He was born in Warsaw (Poland) and died in London (England). He became a member of the British team assigned to the Manhattan Project to help build a bomb. But he left the project, when he knew that the Germans were not working on a nuclear weapon. From this moment, he was banned from entering the United States until 1951. He develope a long figh against nuclear weapons along with Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein. He obtained the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995.
