MAYODAN – Pauline Murray Bryant, 87, formerly of Mayodan and lately of Morehead Nursing Center, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mayodan Moravian Graveyard.

Mrs. Bryant was born on July 10, 1926, to the late Miller and Ila Tate Murray. She was a member of Mayodan Moravian Church and was retired from Washington Mills Inc. Prior to entering the nursing home nearly nine years ago she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching the Christian stations on television.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Bryant; a brother, Jack Murray, and two sisters, Helen Martin and Mildred Stallings.

Survivors include sons, Terry Bryant of Madison and Ricky Bryant of High Point; grandchildren, Steve Gilley, Camie Cassell, and Andrea, Nicole, and Christian Bryant; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service on Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Home of Rockingham County, 2150 NC Hwy 65, Reidsville, NC 27320.

Mrs. Bryant's family would to express deep and heartfelt appreciation to granddaughter, Camie Cassell, her husband, Tony and mother, Linda Woods for their compassionate and gentle care of her throughout her last years in the nursing home and at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
