Service for Willie Elnora Busby Mixon, 80,will be at the Beech Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Little Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Mixon died Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at Timberlake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Jasper.
A native of Kirbyville, she was a a longtime Jasper resident. A long time member of Beech Grove Baptist Church, she had been active in youth programs and school activities. A graduate of Kirbyville High School, she formerly worked as coordinator of the Jasper Youth Center and was formerly Assistant Dental Technician at Dr. Gerald Cammack's office, she enjoyed working in her yard flower gardening and cooking. She loved her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Thomas M. Mixon, Sr.,
son John K. "Bubba" Mixon and wife Janice,
two daughters; Pat Graves & husband Breck, Susan Smith & husband Steve,
daughter-in-law; Suzanne Mixon,
