Adelle Trigg, age 97, of Elkhart, Texas died September 5, 2013 at Sterling House Assisted Living in Palestine, Texas. Graveside services at Pilgrim Cemetery were conducted by Rev. Floyd Petersen. Arrangements were under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. She was born March 1, 1916 in Anderson County to William Robert Bennett and Iciphenia Kennedy Bennett. Adelle graduated from Elkhart High School and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie Lee Trigg; sisters, Junie Rosson, Lula Gray, Doris Roquemore and Dorris Bennett; brothers, W.T., Eldridge, Elwin, her twin Odell, and Fagan Bennett. She is survived by daughters, Martha Rogers of Palestine, and Debra Page and husband Rodney of Crawford; son, Dan Trigg and wife Paula of Elkhart; grandchildren, Leighanne Rainer, Bill Rogers, Jr., Tracye Herbrough, Kathy Shepherd, Julie Vaclavik, Jennifer Calhoon and Harry Thompson III; great grandchildren, Taylor Carnes, Katheleen Rainer, William Rogers III, Kristen Engstrand, Troy Rogers, Riley Vaclavik, Bennett Shepherd, Claire Shepherd, Jordan Ray, Nicholas Calhoon, Caroline Calhoon and Roman Calhoon; great great grandchildren, Aubree Adelle Engstrand and Reece Ray; and many loved nieces and nephews.
