Paul T. Schwarz passed away Sunday, August 18th, 2013, at his home after a long illness. He was born January 13th, 1936 in Logansport Indiana. After a few years there, he and his parents, Kathryn and Carl George Schwarz, moved to Houston where he grew up. A lifelong railroader, he worked for the Southern Pacific for 35 years starting in the shops and working his way up into management in the Mechanical department. After retiring from the railroad, he continued his railroading with HO scale trains. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia and sons Michael Schwarz and Patrick Schwarz. He is survived by his son Don and his wife Brigett, his daughter Kathie Priester and her husband Willie, his stepson Phillip Simmons and his wife Betsy, daughter in law Maribenne Schwarz and daughter in law Dawn Schwarz. Paul is also survived by grandchildren Joshua Schwarz, Kristin Banks and her husband Chris, Jeremy Schwarz, Jessie Cerda, Shannon Cerda, Gareth Priester, Maegan Wilson and her husband Jeremy, Heather Priester, Angela Schwarz, Ashley Schwarz, Paul Thomas Schwarz, Scott Simmons and his wife Kristine and Keith Simmons and his wife Loretta. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, a large number of friends and his little princess Sugarbear. We all miss you Dad.
