Mary Smallwood, 83 of Bluffton, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born July 14, 1932 in Bluffton, Arkansas to the late Harold Lee and Elizabeth (Horton) Montgomery. She was a member of the Bluffton Methodist Church and Gravelly Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ernest Potter and Henry Smallwood; and a grandson, Christopher Jefferson.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Russell Jefferson of Hot Springs; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny Potter of Bluffton, Paul and Teresa Smallwood of Chickalah; five grandchildren, Matthew Jefferson of Hot Springs, Lucas Loving of Fayetteville, Katelyn Smallwood of Pottsville, Nicholas Loving of Russellville and Clint Smallwood of Russellville.

Pallbearers include Lucas Loving, Nick Loving, Clint Smallwood, Russ Jefferson, Matt Jefferson and Billy Seth Loftland. Honorary pallbearers are Kay Aikman and Roy Austin.

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Bluffton Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will be at Point Look Out, Gravelly.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 pm.
Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
