Moses T Beach was born 1762 in Norfolk, CT, son of Caleb Beach Jr and Lois Preston.
Moses served in the Revolutionary War as a private. He married Lois Dodge Brown (widow of Samuel Brown) 1 Aug 1790 in New Ashford, Berkshire Co., Mass.
Lois had two daughters by her first husband; Rhoda (Brown /Beach) Mason (1785-1846) and Lucy (Brown/Beach) Jordon (b1788-?) Samuel died in 1789 and in 1790, Lois remarried to Moses Tyler Beach. The girls use the surname Beach for many of their records and Moses Tyler is listed as their father more than once.
Lois had more children with Moses Tyler Beach. Her death and burial records have not turned up yet.

In 1821, Moses emigrated from New Ashford to East Otto, Cattaraugus Co., NY. The children were mostly grown by then. He lived the remainder of his life there.
