He was born on January 5th, 1931 in Spencer, WV. He was retired from GM, and loved to barter and trade. He was an avid raccoon hunter and enjoyed spending time in the woods with his dogs. He loved his family and friends always being the life of the party.
He is survived by five brothers, Robert Cox of Bucyrus, Edward, Earnest, Raymond, and Richard Cox; also three sisters Rita, Alice and Loranne from WV; he is also survived by his five sons, James Cox of Dayton, Larry Risner, Bucyrus, Mike and Richard Risner From AZ, Leroy and Curtis Cox MD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Goldie Cox, and two brothers, Mayford and Harold Cox.
Rocky was married to Carol Cox his beloved wife of 46 years. They both loved to play cards together which was a fun sight to watch.
There will be a graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery Bucyrus, Ohio on Saturday, September 7th at 11:00 AM.
