Born April 4, 1982 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Mrs. Karen M. (Kline) Berger and Mr. Ronald E. Berger, both of Waynesboro. Scott had lived all of his life in Waynesboro.
Scott was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the class of 2000. He also graduated from York Technical Institute in January 2002 with an associate degree in computer drafting.
Scott was employed as a salesperson at Twiggs Cycles in Hagerstown, MD since April 2005. Prior to that, he worked at Emmitsburg Glass as a CAD designer.
Scott was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of Waynesboro, Waynesboro Fish and Game Association, and Gold's Gym of Hagerstown.
His hobbies included playing for the Smithsburg Baptist Softball Team, hunting, fishing, playing golf and soccer, riding his motorcycle, and being with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-mother, Kathy (Mongan) Berger, Waynesboro; one half-sister, Kayde L. Berger, Waynesboro; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Jane (Tomlinson) Kline, Waynesboro; his paternal grandparents, Ronald A. and Betty Lou (Wilson) Berger, Waynesboro; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 2, 2005 in Evangelical Lutheran Church, 43 S. Church St., Waynesboro with Rev. Richard A. Seaks, Pastor Donald E. Conley, and Pastor Richard Daughtridge officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday evening in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
