Died 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 49, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Daniel Durway. Burial will follow at a later date at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by husband, Julius Beard Jr.; a daughter, Molly Beard; three sons, Chris Shows, Andy Beard and Brian Beard; four sisters, Bonnie Messer,Martha Sparks, Janet Licata and June Smith; and a brother, Barry Bagwell, all of Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by parents, Harrison and June Bagwell; and a brother, Gary Bagwell Jr. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Greater Baton Rouge, 650 Steele Blvd., Baton Rouge, 70806.
