Mrs. Rosetta Grubbs Scotton 65, of Mt. Sterling, Iowa, died at her home, Saturday, March 5, 1938. Rosetta was born 8-4-1873 to Eli and Laura Jane Parker Grubbs. She married James S. Scotton, he died 3-21-1935, he was the son of William and Mary Carns Scotton of Mt. Sterling. Mrs. Scotton is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Minnie Webb of Ottumwa, Mrs. Lena Gee of Fort Madison; Mrs. Marie Campbell of Milton and Mrs. Vallie Randolph of Cantril; three sons, Ernest, Torrence and Hazen of Mt. Sterling. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in charge of the Rev. David Eastburn of Cantril. Interment was in Harness cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Van Buren Co. Ia.
