MRS. SARAH JANE SOCKS, wife of John Socks, died at her late residence, 226 Elizabeth Street, Saturday evening at 8:15 o'clock, of general debility, after an illness of about 2 years, aged 68 years.
Mrs. Socks was a member of Washington Square ME Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Sallie Shank, Mrs. Rose Favorite, Mrs. Lillian Swartz, Mrs. Fannie Ditmer, Jacob, George and John Socks, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Crum, this city; and Mrs. Ella Crampton, Sharpsburg; and brother, Jeremiah Young, Williamsport, also survive.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, services at the house at 2 o'clock, Rev. L. M. Ferguson officiating. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
