She married Ray Minnerath 9/14/38 and they lived in Saco and farmed her mother's homestead until they moved to Glasgow in 1962. They moved back to Saco in 1967. Upon Ray's retirement they moved to Glasgow in 1988. Ida & Ray had seven children and 14 grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, baking and sewing. She suffered from asthma and arthritis and passed away after a hip replacement and stay in a nursing home.
