Kenneth E. Berg, 69, of Marietta, died on Saturday (Feb. 23, 2013) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Marietta on April 16, 1943, the son of the late Kenneth H. and Marjorie Ullman Berg. Kenny graduated from Marietta High School and had worked as a union carpenter for Local #356, in most of the local industrial plants, in and around the valley.

Kenny is survived by his five sisters, Sandy Bickert (Randy), Candie Parsons (Dan), Linda Green (Jack), Karen Lisk (Mike), and Sharon Gregory (Tim); two daughters, Missy Kitts (Cam) and Cindy Smith; two adopted children, Trish and Ricky Berg; two grandsons, Trevor Kitts (Jessie) and Tyler Kitts; and two great-grandsons, Trenton and Hunter.

Abiding with Kenny's wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Kenneth E. Berg, 69, died Feb. 23, 2013. There will be a memorial service held at 4 p.m. on Sunday (March 10, 2013) at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Pastor Rodney Lord will officiate, as Kenney was a member of his church, Valley Harvest Church. Family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. His ashes will be entombed in East Lawn Mausoleum.
