Passed Away After 10 Days Illness of Meningitis.

Miss Ethel Johnson, aged 18 years, oldest daughter of Mrs. Edyth Johnson, who had been seriously ill with meningitis for about 12 days, died at the Memorial Hospital in Lawrence at 4 o 'clock last Thrusday morning.
Ethel was a Sophomore in the high school last year, but did not attend school this term.
Besides her widowed mother she leaves to mourn her taking away four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services were held from the Methodist church on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev E.E. Hollar, the pastor, officiating. Interment was made in the Eudora Cemetery.
The bereaved ones have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
