TEMPLE, JANE BLEVINS, 69, was granted eternal rest Saturday August 31, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. She was a retired finance and accounting manager and a member of Second Presbyterian Church, where she sang in Second Act, she also was an affiliate member of Christ Church United Methodist. Born June 30, 1944, the daughter of the late Olin E. Blevins and Nancy Wade Blevins. Jane is survived by her loving husband, John D. "Doug" Temple; son, William Barry Simpson (Shelley); daughter, Becky West (Jeff); stepdaughter, Kelly Patton (Garret); two sisters, Elizabeth "Betsy" Stinson (Steve) and Ann Naquin (Wayne); and grandchildren, Natan West, Robert Simpson, Mark Simpson, Bethany Simpson and Joshua Temple Patton. Her funeral and life will be celebrated 1 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road, with private burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
